We exist at the intersection of the Great Commission and creative expression, believing that every art form is a frontier for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Great Commission is a call to every believer, to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations. For the Christian creative, that call is embedded in the gift itself. Every song written, every film produced, every canvas painted, every performance given is an opportunity to carry the gospel further.
The Creative Commission exists because we believe the creative arts are a profound and powerful vehicle for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, a natural extension of the same Spirit that moved David to dance, Solomon to build, and Bezalel to craft.
We mobilize Christian creatives, providing the support, discipleship and platform they need to advance the Kingdom through their gifts.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations..."
Matthew 28:19The Creative Commission is based in Nairobi, Kenya. We are a home for the body of Christ across denominations and backgrounds, brought together by a shared love of God and a shared commitment to making Him known through the gift of creativity.
We walk alongside Christian creative artists and faith-based organisations across music, film, fashion, visual art, spoken word, and dance, providing the professional infrastructure they need to focus fully on their ministry. We believe every brushstroke, lyric, frame, stitch, and performance can carry the weight of eternity, and we exist to make sure those works reach the world with excellence and impact.
To advance the gospel of Jesus Christ through the mobilisation, equipping, and resourcing of Christian creative artists.
A world where the gospel of Jesus Christ reaches every corner of culture through the lives and works of consecrated creative artists.
These convictions shape everything we do, from how we walk alongside artists to how we tell the stories of the Kingdom.
